Boys who attended were Steve, Kevin, David, Eric, Richard, Vance, Sean, Shaun (Seahawks). Danny, Bryce, Robert, Justin, Joey (Dragons). Brennan, Bobby, Karl and Joe. The leaders were Mr. Crews, Mr. Highsmith, Mrs. Greene, Mr. Grey, Mrs. Scanlon and Mrs. Hurlock. | ||
Mr. McCabe and Mr. Greene were at Camp Miles attending an Adult Leadership Training. | ||
The boys were joined by 9 new scouts and 3 leader from Dunbar who came to see what Boy Scouts is all about. They were welcomed by the troop and were soon actively involved in the days activities. Troop 140 invited the new troop to join them for Camporee. More photos? | ||

Three boys to attend Junior Leadership Training Kevin, Richard and Danny have all signed up to attend the Junior Leadership Training sessions, beginning with an orientation meeting at Camp Miles on Saturday night at 10:30 p.m. then camping at Camp Flying Eagle over the weekend of February 4 - 6 and again returning to camp, this time at Camp Miles for the weekend of 18 - 20 February. | ||

Sad News!It was with sadness that Troop 140 Committee accepted the resignation of Scout Master Mel Hisey effective the end of January. Mr. Hisey has agreed to stay with the troop as a committee member.However the committee are pleased to report that Assistant Scoutmaster Lee Crews will take over the position of Scoutmaster. |
